I love travelling and most of the time there is little budget to spend on a lot of outings. I used to search for suggestions on long drives, but most of the cities do not come in the list of Big Travel Agents suggesting weekend getaways. You either have to spend a lot on even short trips or end up planning a full vacation probably 6 months or a year later. This is where this blog differs. This is totally for people like me who want to step out of their homes, relax their minds, are fed up of landing into a bar, club or a movie theatre and yet save on spending recklessly.
The inspiration to this blog is me myself, who loves to go on Long Drives with my partner. Both of us being working, there is little time to plan a vacation more often, where you need at least 5 days or more. But trust me, some long drives are ultimate fun. A destination worthy of maximum two days of stay also can get you a sweet break from work, because you have fun all the way to it. I have tried to put down places usually ‘undiscovered’ or ‘not known’ by most of us around our own cities, that can be real spots of pleasure. Interestingly, most of my trips in this blog put no pressure on your pocket, because hey! they are just a drive away. So, if you love long drives too, this blog might be of help to you.
I have tried to cover a lot of things in the articles like fuel requirements, distance, average travel time, cheap as well as grand places to stay and how to find them, fun stops and more. I will be gradually updating it with more information as well, as I get to know more. This blog absolutely welcomes your suggestions or questions on other aspects to be covered in the articles.
